The company DISEA PROJECT Ltd. has Studied and optimized the production process of film for agricultural crop protection, mainly used for vineyards and orchards, in terms of quality of the finished product, maximization of production capacity, safety of use, maintainability and reliability.
 
This process essentially consists of. in the application, on the edges of the low-density polyethylene film, Of two reinforcing bands that are subsequently cooled and drilled Through oscillating drilling devices. These holes are then used to attach the film to special support structures.
 
The product is subsequently cut and packaged in rolls, according to customer requirements user and in the following different ways:
 

1. Folded in flaps On the slitter machine and subsequently rolled e compacted In the opposite direction in the folding machine

2. Rolled on coils Without being folded into flaps, with a total film length of about 1000 m

3. Folded into flaps, with a total film length of about 1000 m.

It is currently in the process of completing the implementation of two new solutions innovative:
 

- The extrusion of C-shaped reinforcing bands, suitable for wrapping a nylon or polyethylene rope completely inside them, used as additional reinforcement of the film edge;

- Compaction of the film only folded into flaps, in order to obtain a product with the plan dimensions of about 1200 × 800 mm, and thus suitable for being placed and transported on a wooden pallet.

- Maximum processable film width: 4,2 m

- Film cooling after application of reinforcement bands: in water or by contact on cooled rollers or by cooled air

Output product size:

- Rolls of maximum diameter 600 mm, width 2000 mm

- Parcels of maximum height 1 m, width 2 m, length 4.2 m
